WHAT TYPE OF SELLER ARE YOU?

As you think about what type of seller classification is right for you it is important to remember that the State of California Department of Taxes & Fees requires that anyone selling over two times in a twelve month period is require to have a valid California Resale Permit. There is no charge to obtain the Resale Permit. Further Information and application for a permit can be obtained online at

SPACE SIZE

All spaces are twenty feet (20’) wide by eighteen feet (18) deep with the exception of some oversize spaces that measure twenty-four feet (24’) wide by eighteen feet (18’) deep.

OCCASIONAL SELLER

Limited to selling 2 times in a 12 month period without a Resale License.

Can not make advance reservations.
Choose from spaces available upon your arrival on market day.
Space rate $30–40/day depending on space.
Must park vehicle and go inside the Market Office to select and pay for space.
Seller agrees to abide by the Terms & Conditions governing this Market.

VERIFIED SELLER

Must have personal information on file with Market Management.
May only sell 2 times in a 12 month period.
Can not make advance reservations.
Choose from spaces available on market day.
Space rate $25-35/day depending on space size.
Must park vehicle and go inside Market Office to select and pay for space.
Seller agrees to abide by the Terms & Conditions governing this Market.

VERIFIED ANNUAL SELLER

No restrictions on how many times can sell during a 12 month period.
Must have personal information on file with Market Management.
Must have a State of California Resale Permit.
Can not make advance reservations.
Choose from spaces available on market day.
Space rate $25-30/day depending on space.
Must park vehicle and go inside Market Office to select and pay for space.
Must have approved fire extinguisher visible and available in space at all times.
Seller agrees to abide by the Terms & Conditions governing this Market.

RESERVATION HOLDER

Reserved space is held each Saturday until 8:00 a.m.
Expedited, in-vehicle, check-in process.
Space reserved for entire calendar year.
Reservation rate $360-600/annually depending on space size and location.
Daily space rental fee due upon check-in.
Monthly reservation rates available with an additional maintenance fee.
Valid Resale Permit Required.
Commercial Fire Extinguisher required (ask Market Manager for details).
Seller agrees to abide by the Terms & Conditions governing this Market.

FOOD VENDOR

Must complete application for review and acceptance by Market Management.
Factors determining acceptance by Market Management include; amount of food already being sold in the Market, experience of applicant, uniqueness of the menu being requested, appearance of the trailer/truck/structure.
Space rates are determined by location and menu.
Selected vendors must have a valid Contra Costa County Health Permit and resale permit before beginning sales.
All required fire suppression equipment must show evidence of current service certification.
Seller agrees to abide by the Terms & Conditions governing this Market.

SET UP HOURS & PROCEDURES

Sellers enter through GATE 5 on “L” Street and proceed to the Antioch Flea Market Office at the opposite side of the parking lot.

VENDOR SET-UP HOURS: Gates open at 5:00 a.m. for sellers to check in and begin set up. We advertise our “Open” hours to the public as 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., although the gates are not manned to prevent buyers from walking in before that time to buy from sellers as they are setting up their displays.
